I agree with Jky4366 in the fact that the slope is truly 2 rather than -4.
PROOF:
(-5 , 3)
- (-2 , 9)
| | -----> -6 /
|-----------> / -3 = 2

The answer is that the slope is 2. the formula for slope is y2-y1 over x2-x1. when you plug the points in your answer is 6 over 3 which can be simplified to 2
