As of December 27th, 2017, the diagram shows different compounds. It does not show a protein transport channel with numbered places. Therefore, I cannot answer this question correctly. However, I can say that the polar amino acids would be on the edge of the cytoplasm and right beside that.

The polarity of the amino acids would give the cell membrane a pocket inside that is hydrophobic (IE, it repels water incredibly well) while the cytoplasm and the outside parts of the cell membrane are hydrophilic (they love water). This channel allows proteins and other items that are small enough to squeeze through the membrane without any help from the cell, also known as passive diffusion.
