In many businesses there is an organizational structure. It may look similar to a pyramid or triangle if you placed all the roles in the company. More of the people’s jobs would be at the bottom of the pyramid. That is because most of the employees are the entry-level workers. On the next level there may be a few assistant managers who oversee the employees.
There would be fewer assistant managers than workers, but there would be more assistant managers than the next level. The next level would be the managers. Then at the top would be the CEO or chief executive officer. In most cases, the organizational structure is a hierarchy that a company would create in order to assign roles.
