Recruitment and employee onboarding is a core function of the Human Resource department. Many organizations use job advertisements, job boards, and social media platforms to recruit talent, and many companies use recruiting software to make their recruitment process more easy and efficient. many companies focus on employee skills and knowledge instead of work history.
Onboard in reference to the workforce means where after training a new employee, support is continued to be given to this new employee in order for the new employee to gain the knowledge and skills needed to perform the job in an appropriate way. Human resources specialist must make the decisions at a large corporation to hire capable employees that can fulfill the positions.
However, it is not always that easy. Sometimes, people lie on their resumes. Sometimes, people may be well-qualified for the job based on their past experience and education, but they don’t have the social skills needed to work with multiple people. Other times, people may have changed jobs frequently and therefore may not need to be an employee of the company even though they are well-qualified.
