The republic of Indonesia is a country located on the southeast continent of Asia in between the Indian and pacific oceans, some of its areas are located around the continent of Oceania.

Jakarta is the capital and largest city in Indonesia. With over 267,670,543 people living in Indonesia, it is dominated more by the Muslims. It is the world largest island country.

Indonesia has over seventeen thousand island which include Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Borneo and New Guinea. Indonesian is its official language and it has over 700 regional languages.

It is about 1,904,569 square kilometers (735,358 square miles) in land area. It is the 14th largest country by land, with about 34 provinces of which has five special status and 300 ethnic groups.

Indonesia is located in Southeast Asia. This is known to be made up of volcanic islands. This is a country that is rich in culture because it has a lot of ethnic groups that managed to preserve their culture and beliefs. To be precise about its location it is located 5.910 maximum latitude and -10.990 minimum latitude; minimum longitude is 95.010 and maximum longitude is 141.030.

It has more than 700 recognized regional languages which will tell you a lot about what to expect from this place if you would ever decide to visit in the future. This is near Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. In fact, it shares land borders with both of these countries
