The state insurance department issues all insurance producer licenses. Most state departments will require you to complete certain insurance pre-licensing hours before you can apply for your licensing exam by state-approved exam provider. After you pass your exam, you can apply to your state's insurance department by filling the license application, fees, and other documents, which, most of the time, includes your biometric and background information.
You can start working as a licensed insurance agent as soon as you get approved by your state.
Insurance agents are special people who sell their insurance policies to different people. They are the spokesperson of different insurance companies/ they portray their policies in a positive manner and try to convince people in order to buy their policy. In addition, these people are responsible for addressing the different complains of clients and looking into their inquiries and claims.
They uphold he companies policies in order to sustain the company. This person should be licensed so that he is an authentic service provider. They are licensed by the state insurance department. However, the insurance services office or the Lloyd’s associations and the interstate commerce commission have nothing to do with the licensing.
B is correct. State insurance departments devote much of their time to working with insurance agents. One of their most important duties is agent licensing.
