There are many differences between animal and plant cells. Plant cells are usually larger. Pertaining to the shape of these cells, the plant cells are about the same in size to each other whereas the animal cells are not. The plant cells will get bigger, but the animal cells will just multiply. Cytokinesis is when the cytoplasm divides. This occurs during cell division. This happens in both animal and plant cells.
During plant cells, the cell is divided by a cell plate. When the animal cell goes through cell division, it is squeezed to divide the cell. Other differences include the lysosomes in which the animal cells have enzymes and the plant cells don’t because really they don’t have as many lysosomes.
