The answer to this question is number 4. A water table is a boundary of saturated rock below and unsaturated rock above. Some people refer to the water table as a groundwater table. This is the surface that is permanently exposed to water. It separates the groundwater from the land.

The water table is normally used to determine aquifers. This means that the water source is normally checked for drinking to make sure that this is safe. It can also be used by different industries that would clean water. The water can also be used for people’s hygiene purposes.

A water table is the upper level of an underground surface in which the soil or rocks are permanently saturated with water. The water table separates the groundwater zone that lies below it. It varies both with the seasons and from year to year because it affected by climate changes and by the amount of precipitation used by vegetation. It is also affected by withdrawing excessive amounts of water from wells or by recharging them artificially.

The water table is where the water pressure head is equal to the atmospheric pressure. It is the top surface of the zone of saturation, which is where the pores and fractures of the ground are saturated with water. Water tables are the surfaces that exist between unsaturated ground and land that has become saturated with water. Most of the water exists below the water table.
