The correct answer to this question is B. The labeled gland is called the pituitary gland. This gland is a small organ found at the base of the brand. It is so small, it is the size of a pea. The pituitary gland produces many hormones, including HGH which is the human growth hormone.

HGH helps stimulate growth and cell regeneration in animals and humans. TSH stands for thyroid-stimulating hormone which stimulates the thyroid gland. It does this to produce thyroxine, which in turn stimulates the metabolism of the body's tissues. FSH stands for follicle stimulating hormone, which can helps encourage fertility.
