Required arguments are the mandatory arguments of the function. These argument values must be passed incorrect number and order during a function call. The IF function is characterized as a logical function, and it is used in the spreadsheet software Excel.

The purpose of applying this function is to test the condition and see if it has been met or not. IF function is one of the greatest common tasks in Excel. It allows you to achieve reasonable comparisons between a value and what you are expecting. An IF statement can have two different results. The first result is seeing if your comparison is true, and the second is if your comparison is false.

The correct answer to this question is Logical test and value if true, value if test is false plus formatting options. The IF function is used in the spreadsheet software Excel. The purpose of using this function is to test the condition and see if the condition has been met or not.

This is done by returning another value, which determines if the conditions are met. There are three different arguments that the IF function has, which include identifying if the test result is true or false and if you are needing to recognize the value in the cell.

Logical test and value if true. If the test is untrue, plus formatting options. The IF function is a built-in behavior in Excel that is classified as a logical act. It can be utilized as a worksheet role (WS) in Excel. To enter the IF formula: select cell b4 to make it the active cell. Go to formula.

Select logical to start the function dropdown list. Select IF in the list to open the function arguments. Place cursor in a logical text box. The Microsoft Excel IF function returns one amount if the condition is TRUE, or another if it is FALSE. The IF function can be inserted as part of a formula in a cell of a worksheet.

The IF function runs a logical test and yields one value for a TRUE result and another for a FALSE result. The IF function can be fused with logical functions like AND, and OR to expand the logical test. The IF function verifies whether a condition is encountered and returns one value if TRUE and another value if FALSE.

The IF Function is known to be one of the tasks that are normally used in Excel. You would be using the IF Function will be able to test the condition. This will be returned to another value if in case the condition has not been met. The best thing about the IF is that it would test the different conditions that are available.

Another possibility of using the IF function is knowing if the value is false. The IF function will come with three different arguments. Remember that IF “The logical test and value if the test is true, value if the test is false.”

There are three arguments that you can expect when you are using the IF function.

These three are:

* To test something which means that you would like to know the value in the cell.

* You would also like to specify if the test result is TRUE.

* You would also like to specify if the rest result is FALSE.

If you would like to do any of the three, you can just make use of the IF function easily. Take note that for the logical test or the first function (argument.) you are going to use the normal formula to determine the IF function. Some changes will occur when you want to do the bottom two.

A logical test and value if true, value if test is false plus formatting options are the required arguements in an IF function. One of the more practical and popular actions in Excel is the IF function. Users can tell Excel to test a condition and if the condition has not been met then to return to a different value.

The IF function has 3 different arguments. For example, you can have Excel perform a logical function which searches for a particular condition and changes to one value if the data test was found to be true and another if the test found the data to be false.

The IF function is one of the more popular and practical tasks in Excel. You use an IF statement to tell Excel to test a condition and to return another value if the condition is not met. The IF function is one of Excel's logical functions that evaluates a certain condition and returns the value you specify if the conditions are true, and another value if the condition is false.

The IF function has three arguments. The logical test, for example, is of a value of the logical expression that can be true or false. In this argument, specify text value, date, number, or comparison operator.
