There are actually two places you can change your font size in the newest version of Word. You can do it from the Home tab, or from the Format tab. You can also use the keyboard shortcut of “Control” + “Shift” + “F” to get to the font pop-up window. From all three of these places, you can change the size of your font.
You can also change your font, the color, and if it’s underlined, highlighted, bolded, or in italics from the home tab in Word 2016. The format tab (which is actually called the design tab in Word 2016) allows you to access the font pop-up window without using the keyboard shortcut. However, most of the basic functions are found on the home tab.
