Kapil Dev is known to be one of the most famous Indian cricketers, probably because he has contributed a lot to the game. He is known to be an all-rounder, which means that he can do different things that can make the teamwork better in general. He also became a captain of cricket, and most people think that he is one of the best captains of the Indian team.

He is known to be a fast bowler and him as also able to become a very good middle-order batsman. Kapil Dev is already 61 years old now, but a lot of people still remember the time when he was able to make history in the world of cricket.

The correct answer to this question is Roger Binny. The cricket player was born on July 19, 1955. His full name is Roger Michael Humphrey Binny and he is a major part of 80's Indian cricket success. Throughout his career, he played 27 tests and had 72 ODIs.

He was also able to achieve a number of historic firsts in his career. One is that he was the first Anglo-India to play for India. He made his debut in 1979. Binny always had the opportunity to have his first and last test at his home in Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Based on the details that are being given, it is not actually 1993 but 1983. The answer to this would be Roger Binny. He was able to take 18 wickets that occurred in just eight games. This is not something that everyone would be able to do. It was truly the highest in the tournament at that time. For the 1996 World Cup, another player was able to get a lot of attention.

It was Ani Kumble who is not part of the choices for this question. He played for the whole seven matches that India played. He was also able to get 15 wickets, which are still high, especially at that time.
