Whenever I arrive in a new town, I first go to my hotel and check myself in. Immediately after that, I look for a restaurant. I’m always hungry after traveling and I want to sample some of the local foods. Of course, you don’t want to end up somewhere dodgy so you have to do your research to ensure you end up in a good restaurant.
I start by looking online. For example, I recently visited Dover so I simply did a Google search asking what the best Dover restaurants are. I could then scroll through the results and use the reviews as a guide. Even better than that though is to find a local and ask them. Most reviews are written by tourists so ask a local to find a more authentic and hidden restaurant.
