COVID has changed a lot of things that I planned this year. I have lost a person that is dear to me not because of the pandemic but because of the circumstance. Yet, there are also some things that have to go through. I have taken the COVID swab test to ensure that I will test negative before going on a vacation somewhere in the mountains.

I would be spending it with my family and my loved ones who have also tested negative. While this will be my first real vacation in a while, I know that this is not something that I will always do if the pandemic is still around because no one would like to catch this.

This New Year, my husband and I are having a small gathering at our house. We normally host a big party every year that has activities outside and inside of the home. However, the pandemic has changed that, so we will only be around a close family that we have already been around during the pandemic.

At the door, there will be temperature checks, and we plan to be socially distanced. While socially distanced, we will enjoy our favorite foods, such as wings, fries, and fish. My father in law will be making drinks as we watch the ball drop at 12

As much as I don't really believe in new year's resolution because we end up not following those resolutions most times, I still have plans for this new year. My plans for the new year include reading more books. Not just anyhow books, but books on business, leadership, and many more motivational books. This would enable me to rub minds with great minds and become greater thereby.

Another plan I have for the year is to register in the gym. This just concluding year, I took part in several sports accompanied with exercises; but I think it's time I spice those up by registering in the gym. Another crucial plan I have is to acquire more skills.

Looking at the way this concluding year is, it has taught people to have more than a stream of income, and probably have a kind of work you can do from home. Several people couldn't really manage the previous pandemic moment, and many end up in debt. So, it's important for everyone to acquire more skills that will enable them to earn from home.
