There are people who may want to lose fat but they sometimes assume that this is the same with muscle loss. When you say muscle loss, this means that you are losing the definition of your muscles. Muscle will not take up as much space in your body as much as fat which is why people who are muscular will have a different appearance.
When you gain more muscle, you will have the tendency to look slimmer and look more toned. Those who lose fat will usually look slimmer too but they may need to build more muscles in order to start looking more toned.
Muscle loss is apparently something many people are not used to hearing. We all know of weight loss, and we use to hear about fat loss, but muscle loss? Not sure. You actually need food to retain your muscles, as well as some healthy physical activities. However, when you undergo exercises regularly, you lose fat and most likely gain muscles.
