There are so many things that are being talked about in the world of boxing, especially with the upcoming fight between 25-year-old Logan Paul and someone who is already considered a legend in the world of boxing, Floyd Mayweather.

People feel that this is a mismatch, yet they would still want to watch it. First, Logan Paul is very much taller as compared to Mayweather. Their weight difference is also very different. Yet, Mayweather has said that he has far more experience as compared to Logan Paul, probably because of the age difference.

What makes this fight a big thing is the fact that Logan Paul is already famous because he is a reality star online. This is going to be different from the type of boxers that Mayweather normally fights.

As for the money, it is possible Logan Paul believes that he will be able to defect the Floyd Mayweather, the 43 years old retired boxer because he has not stepped into the ring since 2017 after he defected Conor McGregor. In summary, the two major reasons why Logan Paul wants to fight against Floyd Mayweather is because of the popularity that comes with it and money.

Money is one of the main reasons why Logan Paul wants to fight Floyd Mayweather. Regardless if he wins or loses, Logan Paul will walk away with a significant amount of money and in the long run, that is worth it for him. Along with that, he will be able to increase his popularity. Many people already know him from his work as a Youtuber.

Going against the best boxer living will certainly turn him into a household name and increase his popularity for the other work that he is doing outside of the ring. This certainly helped his brother, Jake Paul, who recent fought and beat NBA player Nate Robinson.

Floyd Mayweather makes a lot of money, and in turn, he spends a lot of money. He is worth $450 million and is known for his extravagant lifestyle. He is a true gambler; however, because of the risks of gambling, the former five-weight world champion has created such unfathomable debt, which is why he is forced to take fights. He is always saying that he will give up gambling, and he typically gambles on half times. He shows the winnings he has accumulated, but he never reveals what the losses are. Even rapper 50 cents has spoken of Mayweather’s gambling habits and lifestyle. Mayweather often jokes that he is “retired,” but he has not retired from getting a couple of bucks.

The fight is all about money; if not, someone who lost a fight with KSI in 2019 will not be planning another bout with an undefeated five-weight boxing champion.

On the other hand, Logan Paul recently lost his first-ever professional boxing match in the contest with a fellow YouTuber, KSI. Logan Paul's brother, Logan Jake, also had his first professional fight with Robinson, although Logan Jake won the contest.

However, Logan Jake is also planning to take on Conor McGregor, though this fight has not been confirmed by both parties. The contest between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather is happening on February 20, 2021.
