Paralysis can be simply defined as the loss of strength in the control of muscle or group of muscles. There are different degrees of paralysis, which are partial, complete, permanent, facial, spastic, and others. There is a lot of food in which we consumed, which may contain a toxin that harms the brain and nervous system.
Food toxins are among the major cause of paralysis. Examples of food that cause paralysis include unripe lychee and Ackee fruit, which cause acute encephalopathy if much is consumed and it also causes death.
Cassava and grass pea are another food that causes paralysis by causing crippling paralysis. Paralysis is most common in improvised countries because food like lychee and ackee is very popular. Lastly, there is food that can cause botulism, especially when food is not properly cleaned.
