Having an idea that the amount of time paralysis lasts varies from one person to another; for some person, their paralysis lasts for years, this is called permanent paralysis, and for some people, their paralysis lasts for a while, which is regarded as temporary paralysis.
Taking examples of how long paralysis takes place, the first is sleeping paralysis, which occurs during sleep, and waking up; this usually takes about an hour or minutes before the disappearance of the paralysis.
Another example of a long-term paralysis is called a stroke, people with stroke often have a permanent paralysis which does not leave, and it is a full-time paralysis. Lastly, note that paralysis varies from person to person, and some people might experience paralysis by just having muscle weakness, without even knowing they are experiencing paralysis.
