Are mercenaries better than soldiers?

There has been a lot of times when mercenaries are compared to soldiers. There is a lot of difference between these two parties. When it comes to payment, the mercenaries are paid more, and they undergo a lot of stress.

When it comes to recognizing, the soldiers are recognized and are protected by legal law, while a mercenary is just an illegal group. When it comes to requirements, a mercenary needs to have a lot of requirements like knowledge skills and also proper training for the fight, while a soldier needs to have just a few requirements to enroll.

The payment for a mercenary is higher than that of a soldier. Lastly, there has not been accurate information about who is better between the mercenaries and soldiers.

Mercenaries have been illegal since 1989, but before that law was put in place, there were many times where they would be hired instead of hiring soldiers. The reason for this is many of the mercenaries that were established were done so to overthrow leadership or to change laws. As soldiers are working for the government, it would be almost impossible to make the change the mercenaries wanted because they involving workers of the government. However, not everyone had the ability to become a mercenary. Those people that couldn't sometimes become a soldier because they did not meet the skilled cut for a mercenary.

People cannot become mercenaries without proper training, knowledge, and skills. They need to show that they have the skills in order to do the jobs and tasks that they are required to accomplish. Some would try to become mercenaries but would not be accepted because they did not make the cut. Some of them would become soldiers instead. The fact that people used to pay a premium for mercenaries says a lot about how much better they are as compared to soldiers.
