The world has ace so much pandemic and is facing the COVID-19 pandemic now. It is safe to say pandemic is the scariest thing in the world. Pandemic has caused a change, of course, in human history. The black death was the deadliest recorded pandemic. It originated from somewhere in Asia in the 14th century; the first outbreak of this virus took the lives of 75 to 200 million people. The next deadliest pandemic is the Justinian plague that existed about 1,500 years ago. The next pandemic is the Cocoliztli disease that happened in the 16th century; it attacked Mexico when it was yet to recover from the Spanish conquest and related smallpox pandemic. Another pandemic is the 1918 flu, which happened around the world war; it was referred to as the Spanish flu because Spain didn’t censor its newspapers about the disease. The outbreak of the virus H1N1 influenza killed over 100 million people.

The ongoing pandemic is still dampening the spirits of many in various parts of the world. What some people do not realize is that the world has already experienced different pandemics in the past. What makes this different is that it is more modern and people are more aware of the things that are happening around the world. Some people do think that this is a joke though. People have experienced pandemics in the past though. In fact, there are more than 10. There are just some that are bigger than the others. HIV/AIDS was considered to be a pandemic from 2005 to 2012. The Asian Flu is also a big pandemic that happened in the 1950s.
