1. Draw two curved lines that resemble a form of a fish hook forming the outer shape of the heart. You can actually let them join together at the beginning to form a shape that looks like apple fruit but straightly joined at the bottom.
2. Erase the part where the lines joined at the top, creating a short space between them. Then, from the tip of one of the lines, draw a kind of zigzag line downward, almost touching the bottom. Do the same on the second curve line, and make your zigzag lines join at the bottom.
3. Draw a slanting rounded rectangle in the middle of the broken heart shape, depicting a bandage. Then erase the jagged or zigzag-like line that passes inside the rounded rectangle.
4. Draw two lines inside the bandage. The lines should be perpendicular to the length of the rounded rectangle, and let there be space between them. Draw five small scattered circles in-between the lines.
5. Add details to the broken heart by drawing a series of cracks and branch cracks. Also, draw teardrops at the side of the broken heart.
6. Add color to your drawing.
