1. Ensure the left spring is slid into the tube, then add the cable drum.
2. Get the right spring and the center bearing installed with the bolts and nuts, and then remove the locking clamp or pliers from the center bracket.
3. The thing to do next is to thread the cables and ensure that the drums are tightened evenly.
4. Use your winding bars in the winding cone to wind the springs. Get information from your supplier on the number of turns to complete.
5. Stretch out the wings on the two sides with one-quarter of an inch.
6. Ensure to evenly tighten the set screws to contact the torsion tube.
7. Get your springs lubricated on the two sides with the door lubricant.
8. You can now safely remove the pliers or clamp you used in holding the torsion bar and garage door.
9. Lift your door up a bit up to almost a meter. The door should stay in place, which shows the job is well done.
