1. There are different ways to extract a Gz file depending on your device. However, to extract a Gz file on your desktop, you will need to install 7-Zip.
2. Locate and click the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner of the screen to open file explorer.
3. Once you are able to locate it, click on it to open it. Then, find the location of the Gz folder.
4. Select the Gz folder as you locate the Gz folder.
5. Check the left corner of the file explorer and click the "Home" tab.
6. Check the clipboard area of the Home tab and click "copy path."
7. Open 7-Zip and click the address bar to enter the Gz folder address.
8. Click on the folder icon, then click extract.
9. At this point, you will need to extract it to a location.
10. To finish this process, click OK.
