1. Obtain a square-shaped paper or cut your paper into a square shape.
2. Fold your paper into two from the top right corner to the bottom left corner. Use your finger to crease the fold and then unfold it.
3. Fold it into two again from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Use your finger to crease it again and unfold it.
4. Now fold your paper into two again lengthwise. Use your finger or hand to crease it and open it up.
5. Fold the other side of the paper again, crease it with your finger, and unfold it.
6. Now you would notice that your paper has four lines that are joined at the center. Fold the four vertices of the paper such that they are equal, and their tip joined at the center.
7. Flip the paper to the other side and fold the four corners towards the center again.
8. Now you have your paper fortune teller, and you can fill in the fortunes.
