There are many sports such as basketball and football, where it is critical for the athlete to jump high. If they are having issues with jumping high, they can do these exercises to help train their body into jumping higher.
One of those exercises is the depth jump. To do this exercise, follow these steps:
• First, stand on a 10-30 inch high plyo box
• With each foot, step off the box
• Land on the floor with both feet
• Once landed, as quickly as possible, jump high into the air.
• You would repeat those steps until you reach the number of reps you wish to do.
• Do this often so that the height of your jump will increase.
