There are different methods to scald the milk.

One of these methods is by using a microwave to scald the milk.

1. Take your microwave and remove the microwave-safe bowl. Inside this bowl, put the exact amount of milk you want to use. For this task, you can use different kinds of milk, such as skim milk, whole milk, and even powdered milk.

2. Get a wooden chopstick and put it inside the microwave-safe bowl.

3. Put the milk inside the microwave and let it stay for a period of thirty seconds. When microwaving the milk, you may not need to cover the dish.

4. Remove it and get a wooden spoon to stir the milk.

5. Check the temperature of the milk. Do this by placing a candy thermometer at the center of the dish.

6. Return the dish into the microwave and keep removing it every thirty seconds to check its temperature until it reaches 82°C.

Some recipes would call for scalded milk, but how will you know if milk is scalded? You need to take its temperature.

If in case you need to scald milk, these are the steps that you have to do:

• Make sure that you have a stainless-steel pot where you are going to scald your milk.
• Pour the milk and make sure that you will heat it on medium heat.
• Stir the milk frequently.
• Make sure that you will watch out for bubbles because this means that your milk has already reached its boiling point.
• You can also use temperature to check if the milk is already scalded enough.

Once you have reached your desired temperature, you will have the scalded milk that you can use for cooking or baking.

If you find yourself in the kitchen, there are many recipes that call for the scalding of milk, including custards, pastry creams and breads. It is a very simple process.

To scald milk, follow these steps.

• First, pour the amount of milk into a low to medium heated saucepan

• Make sure to frequently stir to prevent the milk from burning

• If you have a thermometer, keep the milk on the heat until it reaches anywhere from 180 to 185 degrees

• If you do not have a thermometer, the milk should be done when the edges of the saucepan begin to slightly bubble.
