There are so many things to consider when making purple paint. Most times, people think making purple paint is as easy as anything once they mix both red and blue paints together. While red and blue are truly the two primary colors needed to make purple paint, it is important to check for possible color bias.

Doing so will help us to get a perfect purple paint.

1. When selecting the primary colors to use, check if they don't contain green or yellow pigments. If any of the two primary colors have either of the two pigments, it will affect the purple paint you are trying to make.

2. Once you have tested the two primary colors and you are sure they don't contain any color bias, either green or yellow, then you are good to go.

3. Mix an equal volume of red and blue colors to get your purple paint.

There are moments when you would like to paint, but what if you do not have the right colors? For example, you may want to have purple paint, but you do not know how you are going to achieve that.

These are some of the things that you can do:

• Mix equal parts of red and blue.

• If you would like to make something that is lighter, you can add some more blue and white.

• You can also make purple by mixing some blue, yellow, and red.

• You can then start mixing on a piece of paper until you reach the type of purple that you desire.

• Just make some adjustments until you reach the shade of purple that you want.

Remember to add black or white depending on the type of effect that you want to achieve.

When it comes to painting, the worst is when you do not have a color that you desperately need. However, the good thing is that many colors can be combined to create another color. If a painter needs the color purple, they can do the following to make it:

• Take equal parts of red and blue paint and mix it together.

• If you are needing the purple to be more of a lilac, you may add white to it.

• Once the color is mixed, sample the color on a piece of paper to see if it is to your liking

• If it is too red, add more yellow and blue to the color.

• If it is too bright, add more black or white to help make the purple lighter.
