Most people would get the domain of a function when they know that they already have the needed graph.

What if you do not have the graph then?

You can still find the domain of a function by doing the following steps:

• There are times when you can find the domain of a function simply by looking at the equation.

• Look for the x that will make the answer of the equation turn to 0.

• Set the denominator to 0 so that you can start solving.

If in case you would want to find the domain of a function and you are not sure what the obvious domain is, you may need to place it in square root first before you can continue with the normal solving process.

Even before you find out how to find the domain of a function, you should know that the domain of a function is something that is meant to put all of the possible inputs.

You will need this when you do not have a graph to refer to.

• The formula that you are going to use is f(x) with x that will serve as the function of the domain.
• Once you know the formula, you can just change with the given numbers.
• Learn how to find the different domains of functions that are available.
• Remember that you need to correctly state the domain so that you will be able to come up with the right answer.

Once you already have everything that you need, you can just double-check with the use of an online calculator.

In math, there are various ways to find the domain of a function. The following steps can be followed to find the domain of a function.

This method does so by following the natural log

• First, write out the problem that has been given

• Then, the terms that are in the parentheses should be set to a number that is equal to 0 or greater than 0

• Isolate the variables on each side of the question to solve the domain

• Once the previous step is completed, the domain can be stated, which will give you the domain of the function.
