Measuring your waist may not be something that people will do correctly, especially if they would like to have a smaller waist than what their current waistline is.
To properly measure, do the following:
• Use a tape measure that you can easily wrap around your waist.
• Place the tape measure around your waist just above your hipbones.
• Make sure that the tape measure is snug and is placed horizontally around your waist.
• Do not compress your skin, or you may end up with a measurement that is too small for your actual size.
• Measure your waist just after you breathe out.
• You can record the measurement which you can place in centimeters or inches.
With all of these things in mind, you will be able to get what you need.
