One of the people’s dreams is to finally start playing the guitar. This is something that you may want to do as well, but you do not know how you should begin.

The best thing that you can do to start practicing is the following:

• You should remember that memorizing the different notes on the fretboard is always a skill that you can learn better when you practice more.

• Keep things simple because when you complicate things in the beginning, it will be harder to make sure that everything is clear.

• You should first focus on the natural notes because when you learn the basics first, the harder notes will be easier.

• Always say the notes out loud because this will help you memorize the different notes more.

There are times when some of the notes may sound the same. Try to play them more often to help you see and hear the differences after some time.

If you want to play the guitar, you know that you would be able to do this if you know how to play all of the notes properly. How are you going to do that then?

These are some of the steps that you have to take:

• Learn the notes on the fretboard.
• Check out the chords, riffs, and solos.
• Understanding all of the notes will help you understand all of the standard tuning.
• Make sure that you will understand where the notes fall on the frets of the guitar.
• Make sure that you understand the different string positions.
• Get to know the different notes on the 9th to 12th frets.

You may need to practice more often so that you will be able to play the guitar properly.

Learning the notes on a guitar are more complex than it is with other instruments.

However, the following steps can be followed to learn the notes:

• First, learn the notes from open strings. From bottom up, the notes can be remembered using the saying Every Boy Gets Dessert At Easter. Those notes are E B G D A E.

• Next, learn the note counts in order from A to G

• Identify the flat notes and sharp notes in between letters.

• Know that to raise the note a half step, you must move down one fret.

• Lastly, identify all of the notes that are natural on the first string.
