Foxes are majestic, gorgeous creatures who are similar to a dog, only wild and often prettier. That is why they say she is a “foxy” lady. If you are going to draw a fox, you need to try to do it justice.
It may be intimidating to attempt to do this, but if you follow these simple steps, you will master how to draw a fox.
• Sketch in the head as a sizeable egg-like shape centered on the page.
• Slightly tilt the egg on its side so that the thinner part of the egg’s oval is pointed to the left.
• Draw the ears with two smaller egg-like shapes on the top of the head.
• Make the far side of the egg come straight up, and near side leans toward the fox’s tail at about a 30 -degree angle.
• Make an oval shape for the body that is about the same size as the head.
• Center the oval under the near side ear and cover it slightly over the lower section of the head.
• Sketch in three pairs of ovals for two front legs and a back leg.
• Space out the legs evenly across the bottom.
• The top half of each leg should overlap the body oval.
• Add three smaller horizontal ovals at the bottom, which will be the feet.
• Broaden the curvy tail off the rear end side of the body oval, overlapping it just a little.
• Define the distinct features of the fox.
• Color your fox a reddish-orange to add the perfect lifelike element to your drawing.
• Don’t forget to add some off-white places on the chest, muzzle, lower legs, paws, and tail.
