Superscript and subscript let you to type characters that come above or below the regular text line. These characters look smaller than standard text and are typically utilized for footnotes, endnotes, and mathematical note.
You can easily switch over between superscript, subscript, and normal text in Microsoft Word.
• To create superscript: select the text you want to turn into a subscript.
• Enable superscript.
• Click the x2 button in the font section of the Home tab.
• Click the format menus, select font, and then check the superscript box.
• Press Ctrl + Shift +equals.
• Disable superscript.
• Clear it away.
• To produce subscript: choose the text that you want to convert it into subscript.
• Enable subscript.
• Click the x2 button in the font group on the home tab.
• Click the Format menu and pick font.
• Check the subscript box.
• Press Ctrl +equals. Disable subscript.
• Clear both subscript and superscript away.
