Microsoft word counter displays the information necessary to see how many words are in a document. You may need to use word count if you are writing a school paper, and you need a certain amount of words. It could also be useful in a business situation. To see the word count of the entire document, look at the left side of the status bar at the word screen's bottom.

If you do not know the word count in the status bar, right-click on the status bar to exhibit the customize status bar menu. View the word count to figure out how many words are in a document. To see the word count in the status bar, choose word count. To look at the number of words in a specific sentence, paragraph, or section, select the text.

The word count of the chosen text is demonstrated on the left side of the word status bar, along with the word count of the entire document. To find word count for several sections, simultaneously make the first selection, then hold the Ctrl key while making the other selections. To open the word count window, click on the word count on the status bar.

One of the things that you check out when you are typing some things on your Word document is the number of words that you have made so far. The more words that you have placed, the longer the document is going to be.

To know the number of words that you have made, you should do the following:

• Go to the bottom left portion of your workplace.

• You will see different details there such as the page number and the type of language that you are using.

• Included in the bottom left portion of the document is the number of words that you have made so far.

• If you want to double−check, you can right click the status bar and check “Word Count.” You will be able to see the number of words that are available then.

In a word document, knowing the word count is very important. In school, a teacher may require an essay or paper to be a certain amount of words. If a person is writing a speech, they may need to know how many words are in the document, to gauge whether to make the speech short or longer.

If you need to know the word count in your document, follow these steps:

• Have the word document open

• At the top of the menu, select Tools

• Then, from the drop-down, select Word Count

• A pop-up box will appear with the number of words in the document.
