There are so many ways of ironing a shirt. However, there are also other things to consider before ironing your shirts, such as the type of iron you are using and the nature of the shirt you want to iron.
1. The ideal thing to do is to always iron a freshly laundered shirt, and start by filling your iron with water.
2. You will need to regulate your iron to have the proper temperature.
3. Although spraying your shirt with some starch is optional, you should always try to do it.
4. Always start with the collar of the shirt, after which you can press the shoulders and yoke.
5. If you are ironing a long-sleeved shirt, the cuffs should be pressed the exact way you did to the collar.
6. Press the two sleeves one after the other.
7. Before pressing the body of the shirt, you should position and press the panel of the buttonhole first.
8. Move to the back, and press the body of the shirt, then button up the shirt and return it to the hanger
