How to shuffle a deck of playing cards?

There are different ways to shuffle a deck of playing cards. However, learning the simplest of these methods should be a good way to start.

1. Hold the cards horizontally by placing your dominant hand around the cards such that your fingers touch every side of the cards.

2. Carefully arrange the deck of cards properly and place the bottom of the cards directly on your palm.

3. Take about half of the cards from the front or back of the deck. If you are taking it from the back, then place it at the front of the deck. You can place a portal of this half to the middle of the remaining cards and the rest to the front of the deck. However, it is very important that you are careful at this stage as the cards will not release easily if you are holding the cards too tightly.

4. Finally, repeat step 3 for about four to six times.
