It is very easy to access your router online. To access your router, you will need a computer to access it. Here are tips that will guide you on how to access a router online using your computer.

Make sure your computer is connected to the internet; once you are on the router network, you can use your system to determine the router address.

1. Open start and click on settings of your system.
2. Tap on the globe-shaped icon, it represents network and internet.
3. Tap to view the network details and properties.
4. Note the number next to the default gateway heading because this is the router IP address, which helps you to access the router settings online.

Accessing a router is sometimes necessary especially if you want to make sure that your router is working properly. Your router settings will allow you to change your home’s WiFi settings.

These are just some of the steps that you have to take:

• Log in to your firmware.

• Type in your IP address.

• Open a command prompt if you are using Windows.

• Click the start button and type “cmd” on the search bar.

• You can start renaming the network and adding all of the necessary details.

• Once you have already placed everything that you need, things will be clearer for sure.

The router’s address should be confirmed so that you will not have any problems.

• Ensure that your PC is connected to an active internet.

• Click on the start button on your desktop and locate settings.

• Click on Settings, and click on network and internet.

• In this interface, you would click on "view your network properties."

• Take note of the IP address beside the "default gateway."

• Open a web browser.

• Type the IP address of your router on the address bar and press enter.

• If you forgot your router's IP address, you could reset the IP address behind the router. This will restore your router to factory settings, and the IP address would be 192.168.15.1, and the password would be admin.

• A new window would pop up, displaying the space to fill in the username and password. Your username and password by default would be admin, but ensure you input the correct password if you have changed it before.

• After all things being well observed, click on the OK button to complete the process.
