Creating a statement is important, especially if you would like people to get to know you better and to understand what your work is all about. An effective artistic statement should be direct and easy to understand.

Creating a statement is important, especially if you would like people to get to know you better
These are tips to check out:

• Create a general introduction of the things that you do, your work, or the project that you would like to introduce.

• Place the basic ideas about the work that you have created and make sure that the sentences you will create are brief.

• The second paragraph should talk about the work in detail and how the ideas and issues that you want to become clearer are presented through your work.

• End with the right statement that will make people understand why they should look at your work.

Most artist statements are about 150 to 200 words long. Create something longer than that, and people will probably become bored reading.
