Green is an example of a secondary color, meaning you will need to mix two different primary colors before it can be produced. The two primary colors that are used in making the green color are yellow and blue.
1. Mix yellow and blue paint: After you have gotten the two colors, put them on a palette. It is important you pour the same amount of each color on the palette. The reason is so that the green color that will be produced will be a pure one. Once you have the two colors on the palette, start mixing or blending the two together until you have your green color.
2. Change the hue by changing the proportion. At times, what you need might not be pure green color, you can decide to lighten the color, either by increasing the amount of the blue color in the mixture, or increase the amount of the yellow color in the mixture.
