How to apply day of the dead makeup?

A lot of people are interested in how the day of the dead makeup looks like. It can look truly fun, especially after people have used it before after seeing some clips that are related to this.

If you want to do your own makeup for Halloween or even for fun, these are just some of the things that you can do:

• Decide if you want to use makeup or face paint.

• Apply light-colored paint or foundation on your face as a base. Make sure that you will cover your whole face with it.

• Use a cream eyeshadow or a white eyeliner in order to make your eyes look more prominent.

• To accentuate your eyes, you can place eyeliner and mascara. Then you would need to color the outer area of your eye up until the markings of the circle with eyeshadow or paint. Most people would use purple.

• Now, you would need to place some decorative dots on the outer edge of the circles that you have created for your eyes.

• You would need to use black eyeliner or black paint in order to color in the rest of the details that you need to complete the makeup.

Do not forget to put some emphasis on your hair too. It will make a lot of difference in that way.

1. To apply day of the dead makeup, the first thing you should do is wash your face, apply moisturizer, and you also need a primer.

2. Use a brush to apply a powder to the whole of your face so as to set the base.

3. Use an eyeliner to draw two circles, with one circle around each eye.

4. You will need to apply like three coats of mascara to your eyes.

5. If you already know how to apply eyeliner to your face, please do it at this stage, but use black eyeliner

6. Use a blender brush, and you can as well use an eyeshadow brush to blend the filling you have made in the two circles around your eyes, starting from eyelashes to eyebrows.

7. Remember the circles you drew in step 3? Surround each circle with small dots.

8. Paint your lips. Pale pink it bright red is advised, but you can still use any color of your choice.

9. Draw a horizontal line right from your ears to the two edges of your mouth, and draw small vertical lines on the horizontal line.

10. Paint your nose. Wear black color.

11. Sketch spiderwebs directly on your forehead and draw hearts or crosses on your chin, forehead, etc.
