There are a number of ways to derive the most out of your home WiFi network. You could be looking to improve the signal with the equipment you own, or you could have purchased a new router.
Sometimes you need to simplify or change something small.
• One of the common ways to change your WiFi password is to open the router’s admin interface in your browser.
• You can verify the manual or the website for specific knowledge about your router.
• Log in with the IP address with the admin name and password.
• Locate your router’s IP address.
• Type IP configures into the command prompt.
• Choose the Windows key + R type, cmd and press enter.
• Then, you should see the router’s IP address there to the right of the default entrance below your existing network connection.
• Type the Internet Protocol address into your browser’s address bar, and press enter.
• Register the router’s username and password to log in.
• Once you are logged in, you can alter your WiFi password.
• On Mac, you can check or change your WiFi password directly from the Apple menu.
• Click the Apple menu, choose system preference, and then click on the network icon.
• From there, select your WiFi connection and then click advanced.
• Next, choose the TCP/IP tab and watch for your router’s IP address to the right of the device.
• Once you have the Internet Protocol address, type it into the address bar in your browser and hit enter.
• Next, enter the router’s username and password.
• After you log in, you will need to establish the WiFi settings and watch for a field for the SSID or network name and one for a password.
• Click apply and save.
