The time may come when you will already be tired of playing Minecraft, or you may want to make sure that it is installed properly.

To do that, you need to uninstall it. To do that, follow these steps:

• Go to the start menu and choose Control Panel.

• Go to Programs and Features and search for Minecraft.

• Select Minecraft.

• There will be an option there that will allow you to uninstall.

• Click uninstall, and there will be different prompts that you need to follow so that you can uninstall everything properly.

• You will be alerted if you have already uninstalled Minecraft completely on your computer.
You can then choose to install another game or reinstall Minecraft if needed.

Minecraft doesn’t take a lot of space, but there are a plethora of reasons why you would want to delete it. If you know you will be back, you can backup your saved games before removing Minecraft. This backup will permit you to jump right back in if you decide to reinstall.

The method for deleting Minecraft on your computer is a bit different than removing most programs.

• Back up your saved games.

• You can maintain your saved worlds if you plan on reinstalling Minecraft later.

• Try uninstalling Minecraft as you would other programs.

• The newest editions of Minecraft can use a conventional Windows installer, which includes Minecraft, to the listing of programs you can delete via the control panel program.

• Select the start menu and choose the control panel.

• Windows 8 users can open the charms menu.

• Pick settings and then control panel.

• Choose the uninstall program and features.

• This will load a listing of programs that are positioned on your computer.

• Select Minecraft.

• Click uninstall and follow prompts to uninstall Minecraft completely.
