There are instances when programs are installed on your Mac, but you know that they are not important anymore.

How are you going to remove them so that they will not take up any more space on your system?

*The first thing that you have to do is to exit the program that you would like to delete.

* Then go to the Applications folder. You will be able to find this by clicking on the icon that looks like a hard disk.

* You would need to drag the icon of the program and start uninstalling the program by placing it on trash.
*Empty the trash folder, and the application will not be available on your Mac anymore.

You can uninstall programs by placing them in the trash icon, or they may come with their uninstaller program.

• Open finder.

• Click the finder application, which resembles a blue face.

• Click applications.

• It is a folder on the left side of the Finder window.

• Find the program you need to uninstall.

• Select the program’s icon. Click file.

• It is a menu item in the top left corner of the screen.

• This will trigger a drop-down menu near the bottom of the File drop-down menu.

• You may have to insert your password to unlock your Mac.

• Click and hold the trash icon.

• It is in your Mac’s Dock. A pop-up menu will appear.

• Click empty trash.

• It’s in the pop-up menu.

• Now the program is no longer installed on your Mac.
