You may need to write a two weeks letter notice, but you do not know where to begin.

* The first thing that you have to do is to include important details about you like your name, date, and address.

* You may also need to have a subject line. Then you can state that you are resigning from the position.

* Place the date of when you would like your last day to be, which is two weeks from the date of your letter.

* You can place a reason why you would need to resign, but this is not always required.

* Make sure that you will show your gratitude to the company for all of the things that you have learned, and the opportunity is given to you.

* Wrap up the things that you will do and the letter. Close the letter with the right closing remarks and affix your signature.

Leaving a job is never comfortable, even if you have found a better one that utilizes your skills and knowledge better than the job you are currently working. However, to leave on good terms and begin down a new path, you must write two weeks’ notice as a courtesy to your current employer.

• The first line of two weeks-notice should clearly state that you are resigning from your job two weeks from the date that the document is written.

• Remember that your two weeks- notice letter is not the appropriate place to gripe about anything about the job that may have perturbed you.

• Keep it brief, general, and professional.

• Make sure that the note is positive but keep a firm stand that you are leaving your job.

• The last point you should make is to thank your current employer for hiring you and for anything you may have learned along the way that will help you in your chosen career.

• That way, if your new employer should happen to call your old employer, you have a better chance of getting a useful reference.
