You may have always wanted to know how to read longitude or latitude but you honestly do not know how you are going to do that.

* The best thing that you can do is to first understand the difference between the two.

* Latitude is supposed to measure the distance from south to north of the equator.

* Longitude is supposed to measure the distance of east to west of the prime meridian.
Once you know this, remember the following tips:

* Always measure both the longitude and latitude from the zero point.

* Always look for the coordinates that are available on the map.

* You can draw lines if you feel that you will get confused.

* Put all of the measurements that you have come up with to see the coordinates.
