Although there are a lot of ways you can use to make a zip file on your computer, I'm going to give the simplest one, as I understand that is what you would like to know. The first thing you will need to do is to create a new folder and save it with anything you want. After you have successfully created a new folder, paste all the files you want to zip into that folder.

Once this is done, you will need to right-click on the new folder you have created. You will see different options from the menu that will be displayed, just hover the cursor straight to the "send to option" and click on it. Immediately you do this; you should see a submenu with different options as well.

Hover the cursor to the “Compressed (zipped) folder” and select it. At this point, you may need to exercise a little patience if the files you are archiving are big because it might take a few minutes before the compressed folder will be created.

There are a lot of people who know just how important zip files is especially when they would need to send different large files all the time. The best thing to do is to make sure that you have the right application for it.

These are the steps that you have to take:

a. Highlight the different folders or files that you would like to place in one zip folder.

b. Click on zip.

c. Wait for the files to be zipped in one folder.

Once all of the files are already placed in one folder, that is the time when you can just send the zipped file through email. It can also be easier to transfer files this way. Click and send the zipped file to the recipient.

A zip file is a great way to send a large number of files without taking up a large number of space. It compresses the files to make them smaller. To create a Zip file, a person will create a folder. The folder should include all the files that a person wishes to have. A person can then rename the file.

From there, a person will right-click on the folder, and the person should select the "Compressed (zip) folder." Due to a large number of files, it may take a few moments before the folder is created, so the user should wait for the folder to be completed.

Creating a zip file helps you send a bunch of files to someone through email, create spaces, and also encrypt sensitive materials by keeping prying eyes away from an important document. The best way to create a zip file is to place all the files that you want to archive into one folder.

The next thing to do is to write click on the folder; this will open a submenu and select a compressed folder and wait for the folder to be created, this method is mainly for windows.

On the other hand, for mac OS X also create a folder that you want to place all the files in, right-click on the folder and click the compress option here, the folder will be compressed into a ZIP file.
