Technology has made everything easy. If you want to send a message to someone, you can use the electronic mail to make life easy. However, in case you are not able to use an electronic device, you will need to use the traditional way of sending emails to people. Kindly use this procedure to send your mail.

1. Choose your envelope; pleases keep in mind that the cost of your letter depends on the size and shape of the mail piece.

2. Address your mail. Write the address you are mailing to and your return mail-in clear spots

3. Calculate and apply postage. The amount of stamp you need is based on the size and weight of your letter.

4. Send your mail. You can leave it for the mail carrier to pick up and drop off in several locations.

You may want to mail a letter anywhere in the world, but you do not know if you are going to create it properly.

These are just some of the things that you can do:

• Make sure that you will follow the right specifications of the envelope that you will use. The specifications are the following:
o Height should be between 3 and a half to 6 and a half inches.
o Length should not go beyond 11 ½ inches.
o The letter should not be thicker than ¼ inch.
o The weight should not go beyond 3.5 ounces.

• Verify the addresses that you will place on the envelope to place the address of your recipient in the middle and your very own address on the top right portion.

• Select the mail class.

• You would need to pay the fees depending on the actual size of your letter and where you are going to send it to.

If all goes well, the recipient will get your letter in no time.

Sending a letter to someone is very personal, especially these days now the advent and e-mail have rendered mailing letters archaic and obsolete.

Even though all of this is true, mailing a letter is still an easy process that adds a personal touch.

• There are a few ways to mail a letter.

• This includes the big blue mailbox.

• Open the box at the top, put your letter through the slit and close it.

• Postal workers routinely come and pick up the mail during business hours.

• The next choice is to put the letter in your mailbox and lift the flag, which alerts the mail carrier that something in the mailbox needs to be mailed.

• The last option is taking the letter to any post office.

• If you need to purchase a stamp, do so and then give over the letter to the postal clerk to mail.

There was a time when the only way for people to communicate with people who are far away is to mail letters. Right now, people can already communicate easily with the use of the internet and the different apps that are available.

Still, there is something about handwritten notes that can make everything seem more special.

If you still want to send handwritten notes at this time, there are certain things that you can do:

*You need to make sure that you know the address of the recipient.

*You may also need to know the postal code of the place where you are going to send it to.

*Once you are done, go to the post office to mail it.

It will take days or sometimes weeks before people may receive it.

• Select an envelope where you would place the letter you want to post. Postage expenses depend on the shape and size of the mail piece. Save money by using standard sizes which fit through automated mail issuing the instrument

• Enclose your letter and then seal the envelope

• Address the envelope. Write the name and address of the person the mail is directed to in the middle of the envelope, while you write your own name and address on the left top corner of the envelope.

• Calculate and apply postage. The number of stamps a mail would need depends on the destination of the mail. Requesting a trusted mail receipt or any other proof would attract additional cost

• Place the sealed envelope in a blue collection box and then Input the letter in the mailbox that belongs to you.

• The last thing to do after all these processes have carried out is to send your mail.

There are various ways to mail a letter. The most known and traditional way is to mail it through the United States Postal Service. This can be done by putting the letter in an envelope. Once in the envelope and sealed, on the front of the envelope, the sender and recipient information should be added. From there, a stamp should be added at the top, right corner of the envelope and then the letter is ready to mail off. In this technology age, there is another popular way to send letters. This way is done digitally by sending emails to one another.
