Drawing a dragon can be both fun and challenging, especially if you are a beginner withdrawing, but with a few simple steps, you can create some masterpiece.
• Draw a circle in the middle of your paper.
• Use a pencil and lightly sketch so that later you can remove the parts you had traced.
• Create a sphere in the center of the page and keep the room on either side so that you can add more detail to the dragon.
• The circle does not need to be entirely round.
• Use a compass to come as close to round as possible.
• Add a rounded trapezoid on the side of your circle to create the snout of the creature.
• Draw the top flat line coming from the bottom of the circle to make the bottom of the snout.
• The two lines should be attached and rounded.
• Make parallel lines coming out of the bottom of the circle for the dragon’s neck.
• Start with one of the lines where the bottom of the snout becomes bonded to the head.
• There should be a curved line from the head.
• Draw another curved line that is parallel to the first.
• Make the lines further apart near the bottom.
• Sketch a curved horizontal line through the trapezoid to make a mouth.
• Extend the line horizontally.
• It should end nearby the middle of the head.
• Add triangles in the mouth to make the teeth.
• Add bumps and ridges on the top of the dragon’s head for more texture.
• Erase the lines you used to trace.
• Shade the drawing and add color to make it bolder and livelier.
