If you would check out the different brands of laptops, you will see that there are different varieties that are available. The Dell XPS is known to be a premium type of laptop. This comes with different features that you will not find in a lower−priced laptop like the Inspiron. The power of the XPS is going to be higher as compared to the Inspiron.

The build quality is also going to be different. The Dell XPS is going to be made out of aluminum and carbon fiber. The Dell Inspiron is going to be made out of aluminum. Since Dell XPS is going to be more premium, some of the versions will come in touch−screen interfaces while the Dell Inspiron will not have this type of interface.

The XPS and Inspiron are the two current product lines that users choose. The major distinction between the two is their target. The Inspiron is an entry-level line-up, while XPS, which stands for Xtreme Performance System, lines up as being more sophisticated in terms of performance.

XPS provides users with better options for working with and editing videos. It demonstrates high-end graphics, and high-end everything, while Insprion is far less comprehensive and more of a basic set up. Inspirion was designed more for those who only do basic paperwork, internet browsing, and gaming.

The Inspiron computers are the more affordable option for accomplishing basic tasks. The XPS set up features expensive hardware like core i7 processors, which makes the performance high end. However, high-end Inspiron does match low-end XPS.

There are some dell XPS and Inspiron desktops and laptops that are available right now, and people do not know which one to choose. Their main difference is what they are currently targeting. The Inspiron is considered to be an entry-level version. This will be perfect for those who would like to get a feel of how to use their laptop/desktop.

They would like to do certain tasks that are very basic. When you say XPS, this means Xtreme Performance System. From the name itself, you can already guess that this is something that is meant to provide the different tasks that people may need. If you need to do some high performing tasks, using the XPS will definitely be vital.
