The name panther is typically used to refer specifically to the black panther that can be found in Asia, and these enormous cats are tawny or spotted; however, there is such a phenomenon as a white panther. Hence, the word panther is commonly used to describe many breeds of large cats.
Panthers have shiny dark fur with emerald green eyes, and they are very adept and strong climbers. Panthers are referred to as dark-colored beasts who roam the earth. That being said, the nickname of the panther is called “beast of prey.” Leopards, on the other hand, are the littlest of the large cats, and they were at one point more prevalent and existed in different lands; however, they are now mostly found in Africa.
Leopards have a long body, large skull, and short legs. They have very powerful muscles and can climb trees with grace and ease. They possess powerful jaw muscles and fierce scapular muscles, which can help them carry a heavy load of prey. They also have a fun rosette pattern or spots on their body.
