Email, which stands for Electronic Mail, is an electronic means of exchanging digital messages through the internet using electronic devices, such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, or desktops. In the beginning, the messages were only text-based, and they were encoded in the ASC II text.
Once the progression of technology occurred, it has been possible to use email to carry out text and utilize multimedia content, including graphics, images, and videos. Gmail, on the other hand, was initially intended to only be for Google. However, as its popularity grew, it became more prevalent in the flexibility of its use.
Gmail is the most used email service created by Google to send and receive email content through the internet. POP is a Post Office free service that permits consumers to send and obtain electronic messages to make use of electronic devices either using the web or third-party applications.
